If you're needing a light, single-pulse MIG for lighter gauge steel, stainless and aluminium welding, or if you need a solid performaing standard MIG welder, the Everlast Power i MIG 205P offers you both capabilities.
As one of the smallest pulse MIG welders on the Australian Market, the the Power i-MIG 205P can reach spray arc range on smaller diameter wires (0.75mm), making it a suitable choice for your lighter pulsed-spray needs. Adding in the spool gun capability (spool gun optional) the MIG can perform quite well with pulsed-spray in aluminum. If you are wondering about pulsed spray welding, the Pulsed spray process is helpful for puddle heat control in out of position welds while maintaining the benefits of spray welding. The single pulse frequency ranges faster than a double pulse (pulse on pulse) type of welder, but it really reduces overall heat input, reducing the possibility of puddle dripping and metal warping. Performing as a standard MIG welder, in the non-pulse mode, the Power i-MIG 205P performs well, above most MIG welders in its class. The smooth stable arc is provided courtesy of the proven IGBT inverter platform that the Power i-MIG series are built upon. The standard stick function improves versatility, because it provides a ready alternative when MIG isn't an option.
